Reclaiming Konia is Heather’s first full-length novel. She has been writing since she was very young. Now that she has the discipline and
experience as a published author, she has determined that Reclaiming Konia will be her first full-length piece.
Heather is the great grand-daughter of the main character, Melkon Jenanyan, an Armenian who fled Asia Minor (present day Turkey) during the massacres in 1909, and
prior to the genocide in 1915. This novel is historical fiction, based loosely on the true stories passed down by her Armenian relatives.
Heather Martin is looking for an agent and/or publisher for her novel.
If you have any interest in working with her, please contact her at hmartin@reclaimingkonia.com or (551) 208-6979.
She hopes that you enjoy the excerpt for this labor of love she calls Reclaiming Konia.
